A Word from Our District Superintendent

District Conventions and Family Camp is right around the corner. Be praying for a great outpouring of God’s Spirit and power on our great District Family gathering, August 16 – 22, 2010.
We will be blessed with great conventions, Zone Pastor’s reports, great preaching and a workshop on leadership with our General Superintendent, Dr. Stan Toler. I will be presenting an exciting new theme for the District, and we will vote on an official name for our new District. We will experience great holiness preaching from Dr. Larry Dennis, and powerful worship music with Brian Arner and the Fergus Falls worship team.
Lake Geneva offers many fun things for the family, and Alexandria is a wonderful town with many shops, restaurants, and recreation. My hope is to have over 1000 people attending the weekend Family Camp. It will be a great Family getaway, with lots of fun and spiritual blessings as we prepare for the new school year.
This will be the first assembly and camp of our new district. I believe God will have some wonderful things to tell us and show us at this history making event. I hope and pray you can be there to see what God has in store of us, our families, and our great new district.
