A Word from Our District Superintendent

Welcome to our new web page. The District is now about four months old and we have accomplished more then we dreamed could be done in this amount of time. And God has been blessing His church! My most important life verse continues to prove true. In Ephesians 3:20, which is really a finale to a great prayer we find these powerful, life altering words. “Now to HIM who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to HIS power that is at work within us, to HIM be glory in the church…..” With the many challenges we have with 69 churches, we need to believe these words. The reality is, God has already proven them to me. I believe we have some of our greatest, most fun days of ministry ahead of us, not because of us, but because of HIM!! HE is able to do more than we can ask. Well, I talked to HIM just this morning, and had a few very critical things to ask HIM for and about. But the best and most encouraging is that HE is able to do immeasurably more than all we can IMAGINE!!! Wow!! That covers a lot of territory for me. I dream all the time of lost people finding Christ, of healthy churches, all the finances we need, and HIS victories in our lives and families. I’m reminded that if this is true in my life, then HIS power needs to be at work within my life. That calls for a pure heart, where there is no hidden sin. That calls for a holy church, without division or unresolved conflicts, and without hidden sin. Let’s determine to be who HE wants us to be - a sanctified people and a sanctified church. With anything less, why in the world would we expect this promise from HIS Word to be fulfilled in our lives or church? HE is faithful. Today let’s seek HIM with all our hearts.
